2. What Makes a Halal-Friendly Listing?
To host on Lokhali, your property must maintain:

✔ No pork products
✔ No adult or inappropriate media
✔ Modest, respectful décor
✔ Clean and safe accommodations
✔ Family-friendly atmosphere
✔ Transparent and honest descriptions
3. Steps to Become a Host
Step 1 — Apply
Go directly to our website at lokhali.com and register to create an account with the following. Alternatively, for a customized listing, email admin@lokhali.com with:
- Your name
- Property location
- Number of rooms
- Amenities
- Photos (optional at first)
Step 2 — Approval
Our team reviews your property within 48–72 hours.
Step 3 — Listing Creation
We design your complete listing:
- Description
- Amenities
- Pricing
- Rules
- Halal-friendly highlights
Step 4 — Final Review
You approve the final listing draft.
Step 5 — Go Live
Your listing is published, and bookings can begin.
4. Host Responsibilities
Lokhali Hosts agree to:
- Maintain a halal-friendly environment
- Keep property clean and sanitized
- Provide accurate listing information
- Maintain prompt communication with guests
- Respect guest privacy
- Follow local rental laws
- Avoid unwarranted cancellations
5. Payments & Fees
Payouts:
Processed securely through Stripe.
Fees:
Lokhali collects a host service fee on each booking.
First 100 Hosts Challenge includes
- 0% service fees for 3 months
- Reduced service fees for 1 year
6. Cancellations & Emergencies
Hosts should avoid unnecessary cancellations. In emergencies, notify Lokhali promptly at admin@lokhali.com.
7. Sadaqah & Community Impact
A portion of Lokhali’s service fees supports vetted charitable organizations.
This means your home becomes part of sadaqah jariyah — continuous charity.
